USA 2014

I wish good luck to my friends-truckers from North America, to all travelers on the roads.

"Do you remember how it all began?" - These are the words of a popular song...
And really, how?
How is it that in September 2014, we went with my wife on vacation in USA?

My life was so, that I worked as a truck driver for several years in North America.
I was carrying the loads, visited many states and roads of North America became native to me.
I loved my job and was very sorry that those natural beauty that I see, my wife does not see.
Although, I have seen only a small part of this beauty, because work is work.

So, came the idea to travel by car on the roads of America.
I was hoping to see the western states, with their unearthly landscapes.

We should not have problems with roads and motels.
But how to plan a route to see more intresting places?

Special thanks to my wife - the faithful companion and the navigator, who shared with me all the difficulties of travel.

We prefer to relax in the nature, but to be a tourist in America and not to see few cities, it is also wrong.
We understood that the first trip is always trial and see all the sights is simply impossible.
The question arose: "How to grasp the immensity"?

At a family "council" it was decided to start with New York, then fly to Los Angeles.
Then rent a car and explore the western states, to visit the world-famous tourist places.

A route - a large circle on the car was supposed to look like this:
- On the road from Los Angeles to San Diego, along the ocean.
- Visit to Grand Canyon National Park.
- View Horseshoe Bend and the Colorado River.
- Race around the roads of Utah.
- Visit to Bryce Canyon National Park.
- Zion National Park.
- Visit to wonderful city of Las Vegas.
- Feel like an ant near a grove of giant Sequoias.
- Visit to Yosemite National Park.
- А couple of days in San Francisco.
- Along the ocean, from San Francisco to Los Angeles.

Then the flight to Boston, where our friends live.
And then from Boston to New York by bus, where we say: Goodbye, America! The route has been carefully designed, the tickets are purchased...
