Boston & Area

On the morning of Thursday, September 25, 2014 we said to our car - Thanks.
The car served us faithfully for all 17 days of our trip.

We are used to the vehicle and we loved it.
Therefore, our parting with the car was sad.
We have wished all the best to our car and went to the Los Angeles airport, where we waited for the plane to Boston.
We were going to be in Boston 3 days, and then to go to New York, to fly home at Monday, September 29.

As I wrote, our friends lives in Boston area...
And they invited us to visit, promising to show the city of Boston.
Therefore, we did not plan our program in Boston, we did not think where to spend the night, we can just relax.

A very warm autumn evening was in Boston...
The friends met us and we went to their house.
We were not in Boston, but in a small, pretty town of Cambridge, in the Boston metropolitan area.

Cambridge - a city in the state of Massachusetts, is located north of the city of Boston, across the Charles River.
The city received its name in honor of the University of Cambridge in the UK.
A place for the city has been defined in 1630.
Cambridge is home for two universities located here: Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

In the evening, the friends introduced us with the our cultural program.
On Friday - we will see the heart of city of Cambridge - Harvard University.
On Saturday - we will get acquainted with nature near Boston
On Sunday - a walk in the center of Boston.
