Havasu Creek

State of Arizona in the United States - one of the most popular among tourists.
Grand Canyon National Park, the cliff "Horseshoe Bend", Antelope Canyons, the Wave, the Colorado River are located here.

But waterfalls "Havasu Falls" known not as good...
Perhaps this is due to the fact, that these waterfalls are located on the land of an Indian tribe "Havasupai", but not in the National Park.
And it is difficult to get to the waterfalls.
Havasu Falls are very popular among Americans and visits must be booked at the beginning of the year.

I learned about Havasu Falls on the Internet and wanted to see this natural wonder.
In February 2015, I called to the staff of Indian village and booked three nights in the campground, near waterfalls, in June.
And we began to prepare for the trip.

You can not get to waterfalls by car.
You have to leave your car in the parking lot, go down and go 13 km along the canyon to the Indian village of Supai.
But you can get to the village by helicopter for 4 minutes.
What do you like?

You can spend the night in a motel (Lodge) in Supai Village or at the campground on the banks of Havasu Creek.
The creek flows from an underground spring and forms the waterfalls.
Waterfalls are named: New Navajo Falls, Fifty Foot Falls, Havasu Falls, Mooney Falls, Beaver Falls.
